There is no consensus on what resilience really means. One of the objectives of the summer school is to present a diversity of views on what "reslience" means in environmental science - and how to model it.

The summer school consists of lectures by the main speakers on the four themes, seminars on special topics, and working groups. Additionally, there are special sessions for exchanges between participants, between groups, and visits and activities in Paris.

The course will start on Sunday after lunch and will end Saturday at lunchtime. Only candidates will be admitted who are able to participate for the entire course period. Location
The PSL Environment Summer School will take place at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS), 24 rue Lhomond, at the heart of Paris, France.

Food and accomodation

Meals will be provided throughout the week, from Sunday 19th lunchtime to Saturday 25th lunchtime. Accomodation
Accommodation is not included in the total cost of the Summer School, from Saturday night, June 18th, to Sunday, June 26th morning. See here for accomodation fees.
We ask all participants to arrive on Saturday and leave on Saturday or Sunday. Any other arrangements must to be done independantly.
Participants will stay in student housing in Montrouge, South of Paris, (…)
