Description (English)
The objective is to introduce students to foundational issues in the analysis of environmental economics through a survey of broad topics, with particular focus on understanding and analyzing the tradeoffs between environmental outcomes and economic growth. Topics may include poverty, natural disasters, air and water pollution, deforestation, genetically modified crops and degrowth.
